This Privacy Policy explains how Palmetto Region – PCA, Inc. collects, uses, and protects your personal information. Our Terms and Conditions are on a separate page and apply to your use of this website and our text messaging program.
Definition of Terms
“We”, “us” and “our” refers to Palmetto Region – PCA, Inc. “Site”, “Community”, or “Service” refers to the Palmetto Region – PCA web site. “Personal information” means information about you or your computer that we collect in connection with your membership, your communications with us, your participation in our activities, your use of our website, or any other nonpublic means by which we come about information about you. Personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.
Collection of your Personal Information
Palmetto Region – PCA collects and uses your personal information to operate the Palmetto Region – PCA website and deliver the services you have requested.
Palmetto Region – PCA keeps track of the pages our members visit within the Palmetto Region – PCA website, in order to determine how our services are used. This data may be used to deliver customized content or for other purposes within the Palmetto Region – PCA website.

Text Messaging (SMS) Information
If you choose to join our text messaging program, we collect your name, email address, and mobile phone number, along with a record of your consent (the date and time, the page on which you opted in, and your IP address). We use this information only to send you the text messages you agreed to receive and to keep a record of your consent.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver messages (such as our text messaging platform), which may use that information only to provide that service to us.

Confidentiality, Use, and Security of your Personal Information
Palmetto Region – PCA does not sell, rent, lease or give out its member lists to third parties. We may, from time to time, contact you by email or postal mail on behalf of business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information is not transferred to the third party. In addition, Palmetto Region – PCA may share data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide member support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Palmetto Region – PCA, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. Your personal information is not made available to Porsche Cars North America (PCNA), Porsche AG, or any of its affiliate companies. This paragraph does not apply to text messages or mobile information, which are governed by the section above.
Palmetto Region – PCA may use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from us. We may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.
Our members’ personal information is used within Palmetto Region – PCA only on a need to know basis. For example, we do not provide Palmetto Region – PCA’s personal information to another Regional Club or its PCA members. We restrict access to personal information about members to the volunteers who need to know that information to perform their jobs, and to our officers and committee members who need to know that information to serve in their roles with us. We maintain reasonable safeguards to guard your personal information.
Palmetto Region – PCA secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure, except as otherwise noted in this Policy. Palmetto Region – PCA secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
The Palmetto Region – PCA website may have features which expose limited amounts of personal information. These features may include, but are not limited to, the Palmetto Forums and Member Cars. Participation in the Palmetto Forums and Member Cars is optional, and will be visible on the website.
Palmetto Region – PCA does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without your explicit consent.
Use of Cookies
The Palmetto Region – PCA website uses “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your computer.
