Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Dunes Golf & Beach Club’s beautiful oceanfront golf course, “Sun, Surf & Speed” has become one of the Grand Strand’s most distinctive automotive gatherings. With rolling fairways leading to the Atlantic Ocean, the event provides a spectacular setting for an unforgettable afternoon of exceptional automobiles, coastal scenery, and great fellowship.
Originally founded by longtime Dunes Club member and longtime Porsche Club of America member Tommy Davis, “Sun, Surf & Speed” has grown into a premier annual event hosted by the Dunes Golf & Beach Club. Today, the Invitational Car Show brings together an outstanding collection of distinguished automobiles while creating a memorable experience for Dunes Club members and their invited guests.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support the Dunes Golf & Beach Club by encouraging our members to participate in the Porsche Corral and by providing the PCA Hospitality Area throughout the afternoon.
Event Information
Date: Sunday September 13th 2026
Location: The Dunes Golf and Beach Club, Myrtle Beach
Cost: $25
Corrals open at 10 AM and Judging begins at 11:30 AM
Registration: Starting August 19th members are invited by me Tommy Davis to attend our 9th annual event on the lawn in front of the Atlantic Ocean at 9000 North Ocean Blvd

- Guest participants may register one (1) vehicle only.
- A $20 cash registration fee is required on the day of the event.
- Vehicle setup begins at 9:30 AM, and all display vehicles must be in place before the show opens at 11:00 AM.
- While enjoying the show, be sure to stop by the cash bar and enjoy our $25 all-inclusive buffet, available for purchase on the Front Lawn throughout the event.

11:00- Show Starts with National anthem
12:00. Judging will begin
2:00.- Peoples Choice ends and winners announced!!
2:30- Winners will drive their cars to the front to receive the trophies!
3:00. Cars will begin to exit lawn

The Invitational Concours showcases an outstanding collection of exceptional automobiles representing a variety of distinguished marques.
Complementing the Concours, the Dunes Golf & Beach Club provides a dedicated Porsche Corral where registered Palmetto Region Porsche Club of America members can display their Porsches and contribute to the day’s celebration. Together, the Concours and Porsche Corral create an experience that offers Dunes Club members and their invited guests an even broader collection of remarkable automobiles to enjoy throughout the afternoon.
