ACE Basin Drive – April 12th, 2025

Explore scenic back roads to Bennett's Point for a unique presentation by a legendary SC shrimper, then enjoy a "Paradise" lunch on Edisto Island. February Adventure: Cars and History

Join us on February 15 for an unforgettable day exploring exquisite cars. Our journey begins at 8:45 AM as we depart from South State Bank near Publix on Hwy 17/Main Road. Our destination? One of Hagerty’s exclusive private garage, where we’ll have the unique opportunity to view an array of exceptional cars.  Upon arrival, we’ll be welcomed by our gracious host, Marvin Waters. Marvin will guide us through a showcase of cars that are said to be truly special. This all-day adventure promises enjoyment for enthusiasts of cars and planes alike. Palmetto Spelling Bee Rally

Get ready for a unique adventure with the Palmetto Region Spelling Bee Rally! This throwback event challenges Porsche drivers to a creative scavenger hunt. You'll drive to different towns and cities, each starting with a letter from a secret phrase. Capture a photo with your Porsche and the town sign for proof. This relaxed, nostalgic rally runs until November 30th. The winner, to be announced at the Annual Holiday Party, will receive a prize. It's the perfect way to explore the region and celebrate your Porsche with fellow enthusiasts!

Porsche Charleston – Holiday drop in event for PCA

This Saturday, Dec 14th, Brian Dashner (Sales manager for Porsche Charleston) invites us to come by from 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. He will have brunch foods for us from Ruby Sunshine. Two lucky members will each receive a $100 Baker Motors gift cards! This drawing is only for our Palmetto club members, and you must be present to win. They are going to move their cars, so that we club members can easily park in the front and the side of the showroom. This is a free event for us, so we look forward to seeing you there!

Celebration of Life for Ben Miehe

The club had a great loss. Former President and long time member Ben Miehe has passed away. His family has given us an opportunity to celebrate Ben’s life. Our Porsche club will have an “Honor Drive” starting at Founders Hall at Charlestown Landing on Thursday, August 15 (5pm). This will be in conjunction with Ben’s Celebration of Life event which will be 2pm-5pm. This is not a funeral service – it’s a social gathering of Ben’s friends and Jenny (Ben’s lovely wife) specifically requested the local PCA club participate with as many Porsches as possible. https://maps.app.goo.gl/vNC651aARsPuSqYXA
