THE PORSCHE - CORVETTE CHALLENGE WILL OCCUR DURING THE VETERANS VICTORY HOUSE CAR SHOW THIS SATURDAY, MAY 14. Registration is 9 - 11 am.
The Veterans show is a great event. It is hosted by the Walterboro Cruisers in honor of all the veteran men and women that have served our country. The cruisers always let the veterans participate in the activities at the car show. The residents present a veterans choice award and help host the event. All proceeds go directly to the Veterans at the Nursing home. The funds purchase items the Veterans need/want that budgeted funds will not purchase. In the past this show has provided them with TV’s, computers, Wii’s, books and various recreational activities items, book shelves and even helped to purchase a transportation van.
This is one of the events these men and women look forward to every year. It is participation voting (Top 50). There are food vendors, music, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle.
We want to win the Porsche - Corvette Challenge Trophy again this year! Treat this as a shine and show not a Concours d’Elegance event so get it out there. Bring you chairs to relax with your fellow Porsche owners and mingle with our Corvette friends.
We need to beat those Corvettes so bring all your P-Cars out!
